WE HAVE COME A LONG WAY, WE CAN'T GO BACK!

This message is for you who are about to make a u- turn from your destiny because of issues blocking your progress, dream and vision.

I would like you to know that what is affecting you or disturbing you is not common to you alone . All of us even those before us have encountered such situation and unfortunately some have resolved to turn back thinking they were wrong to follow their dream of marriage, of happiness, of success, of education, of child birth, of victory, of home owner, of promotion.

The truth is there is no gain without pain, no crown without thorns. Victory or success in a project cannot be achieve without a fight.

Our reference scripture is taken from the master and teacher of absolute success, Jesus Christ, Hebrews 12: 2 [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith, who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God .

What wonderful example!

Jesus also was confronted to the harsh reality of opposition, he even wished to be exempt from this narrow way; but at least he rejected that idea, and trusted the one who gave him the dream; God, The Father.

Matthew 26:39 And after going a little farther, He fell face down and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible [that is, consistent with Your will], let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”

You see, your dream of marriage, of good education, of success, of promotion, of childbirth, of total healing, of victory over poverty or any good vision, cometh from God. The devil who is the opponent ,the father of evil , will not allow you to set a standard for others who are looking at you; he will stand with all mighty to turn you back.

Look at what happen in the wilderness to Israel, a nation redeemed from the more wicked and powerful agent of the devil for an incredible dream possess a land of their own, where they will never be slaves again, tenants and poor. At the gate of fulfilment, they decided to turn away from such dream, they rejected the dream and opted to go back to slavery.

Numbers 14: 1 So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. 2 And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! 3 Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” 4 So they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.”

What a pity, all of them lost it all.

I prophesy over your life, you shall not lose your own dream or vision , in Jesus name.

My brother, and sister any time you doubt God's precious word, which is the vision given to you, you have turned away from your destination.

So, our great problem is not the opposition but our attitude toward it.

If you can keep your faith, and trust god in all your ways , surely the situation will fade and you will be able to possess your dream into reality.

1 John 5:4 For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].

I encourage you as you listen to this word don't give up and don't go back after so much efforts.

Lean on God and he will surely give you the strength and wisdom to overcome this situation.

for conclusion, let see the gain of Christ after enduring the cross.

Philippians 2: 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.

1. He gain promotion

2. He gain a powerful name

3. He gain respect from the visible and invisible worlds.

You will surely end up enjoying your dream, in Jesus name.

One thing we do with Sabrina, when facing tough and hard opposition is what we have learnt from the best teacher, the holy spirit, who took us through a bible study and shown us each great man or woman of God who had encountered opposition and overcome it, to recall God's faithfulness.

1 Thessalonians 5:24 24 He who calls you is faithful.

Today we can tell you, God has never left us in the midst of struggle, He is always there, waiting for us to trust Him and follow His guidance.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

If you can do these two things trust and obey, be sure, you will never go back to failure, celibacy, slavery, barrenness, sickness, poverty or any of the disgraceful position.
